April has extensive experience in all phases of epidemiologic, health services and outcome research, including the design, conduct and analysis of data from large, multisite, population-based studies, retrospective databases, administrative claims databases and registries. As the chief executive officer for Translational Technologies International, April leads teams of researchers in studies of epidemiological methods, biostatistics, chronic diseases, clinical immunology, human genetics, genetic epidemiology and environmental health. She has extensive experience in a broad range of health outcomes, including birth defects, asthma, pediatric cancers, Huntington’s disease, neurological impairments, aging and injury. Prior to starting TTI and working with Decision Driver Analytics, she served as a senior scientist and chief operating officer for Epidemiology International. April holds a Ph.D. in statistical genetics/epidemiology from Johns Hopkins University, an M.P.H. in community health/epidemiology from Saint Louis University and a B.A. in chemistry and English from Washington & Jefferson College.
